Compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG) is produced by separating the methane (content: 20 ~ 28%) from the coke oven gas. The entire process is as below::
Tar, sulfur, benzene, naphthalene removal unit
Acid gas (CO
2, H
2S, HCN) removal unit
Desulfurization unit
Hydrogen separation unit
Deep purification unit
Liquefaction unit
Product storage unit
- Technical Features:
The traditional routes are changed in which the coke oven gas are used for the power generation, the production of methanol, ammonia synthesis .
- It meets the national environmental protection and energy policy when nature gas is produced by coke oven gas.
The by-product hydrogen can also be used for tar hydrogenation or co-production of ammonia, methanol and so on.
Short process route, less investment, good economic performance..
