We participated in the key-problem tackling of nationalized design for styrene plants of SINOPEC, twice. 200,000 T/A styrene package technique development and 200,000 T/A EB package technique development, as the national “fifteenth” key scientific and technical program for tackling the key problems and Sinopec “ten dragons” tackling projects were awarded the first prize of 2006 for scientific and technological progress of China Petrochemical Corporation.
We successively completed design of 19 styrene plants for Qilu Petrochemical Co., Dalian Petrochemical Co. Tianjin Dagu Co. etc which are all under the good operation. More than 60% national markets are shared in the fields of styrene. Qilu 60,000 T/A styrene plant designed by FAREAST-TECH was awarded China State Construction Engineering Luban Prize. Excellent Prize of SINOPEC was awarded for its design of Dalian 100,000T/A three benzene complex steam super-heater and exchanger package and Progressive Prize of SINOPEC for its developed ethyl-benzene steam super-heater. Jiangsu Shuangliang 210,000 tons / year styrene plant was awarded first prize of Shandong Province for excellent survey design in 2007. EPC project of 200,000T/A Styrene Plant expansion of Qilu Petrochemical Co. was awarded bronze prize of national Premium engineering survey design in 2009. Tianjin Dagu 500,000 tons / year styrene plant designed by us. His currently one of the largest single styrene capacity in China.
During many years of new construction and expansion design and star-up practice, we have gradually formed EB/styrene technologies with our features, on the basis of digestive absorption of current technology, by means of innovation, and this technologies have been applied in EB/styrene plants of Qilu Co., Guanzhou Petrochemical Co, Shuangliang Co. etc. and obtained good economic benefit. We have developed and completed, on this basis, process package of production technology for 500000T/Y, 20000T/Y and 200000T/Y ethylene method ethylbenze/styrene plants, which have provided reliable support to overall popularization of this technology. Until now company has successfully transferred one 60000T/Y ethylbenze/styrene plant using the proprietary technology and one 75000T/Y plant and one 200000T/Y ethylbenze/styrene plant are now being designed or built.
